Calvin Klein Collection Women’s Fall 2010 Runway Show

Calvin Klein Collection Women’s Creative Director, Francisco Costa presented 34 looks that were described as confident, lean, and sculptural. Shapes were reductive and spare with elongated proportions and manipulated seams, while fabrications were rich and glossy. For his Fall 2010 runway show, Mr. Costa presented a musical composition and sculptural light installation conceived exclusively for the show by Berlin-based Alva Noto aka Carsten Nicolai. The work, entitled “atmosphere,“ uniquely brought together light and sound with a dramatic effect before and after the models took to the runway.
