Karla Goldman was the -ex singer of the hard rock outfit “18 Names”. In 1990 she released her highly touted solo album on local Ohio label Sisapa Records and produced by Karla and Dave Egan. What we have here is melodic hard rock, that comes over like a mixture of Joanna Dean and Lita Ford. Karla’s voice is imacculate and you can understand that by listening the beautiful ballad “Never Say No” with feeling pouring out from the vocals, while the guitar work of Mark Chatfield (The Godz) is simple outstanding. Unfortunately the label didn’t give to this album the push it deserved and the band disbanded a short after. Hard to find in nowdays….
