❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on December 12, 2022 ▪️In Lyman sector, fighting for holding the initiative near Ploshchanka and Chervonopopivka continues. Russian Armed Forces are launching complex strikes on positions and rear lines of Ukrainian formations. ▪️Wagner’s PMC assault units have occupied several Ukrainian strongholds near Pidhirne. Settlement is a key point of AFU defence on its northern flank, the capture of which will make it possible to take the town in semicircle. ▪️DPR People’s Militia units launched their expected offensive on Ukrainian positions near Toretsk. Ukrainian command hastily transfers additional reserves to this section of the front. ▪️Ukrainian large-calibre artillery and MLRS continue to conduct massive shelling of Donetsk. Hits hit civilian neighbourhoods, a hospital was damaged and a multi-storey residential building is on fire. There are dead and injured. ▪️Heavy urban fighting is going on in central districts of Mar’inka, where Russian motorized riflemen have repelled all AFU’s counterattacks and are pushing the enemy back DPR authorities declare control over 70 percent of the city’s territory. ▪️In Vuhledar sector, Russian forces are attacking Ukrainian stronghold in Velyka Novosilka direction. The aim of the offensive is to improve the current positions and capture a number of enemy strongholds. ▪️The Kiev regime continues to wage a terrorist war. The car of the deputy head of the regional administration was blown up in Kherson region.
