A mediocre Precision Bass from bad, maybe worth checking out if you like a ’57 reissue precision. I forgot to do the dual mode, but what the worth saying much about I’m afraid :P You heard it engaged with the knob pushed down, which essentially boosts the overall sound. So imagine the same tone but about 2 or 3db quieter when the knob is not depressed.
