Sjonni’s Friends recorded a new version of Johnny Logan’s What’s Another Year in their hotelroom in Düsseldorf. The song is a long time favorite of singer Matthias Matthiasson and the lyrics are very fitting to the circumstances surrounding the group. The song was performed by Johnny Logan and was Ireland’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980. Composed by Shay Healy, the song reached number one in the UK for two weeks in May.
