St. Mary Dam Valve Replacement Project - Mini Documentary

Between 2014 and 2020, Klohn Crippen Berger worked with the Government of Alberta to replace several large diameter valves within the low-level outlet (LLO) at St. Mary Dam. This was a technically challenging project, involving underwater installation of a 1.8 m diameter plug and installation of large equipment in restricted spaces. Throughout the project, riparian flows had to be maintained to provide habitat for local species and maintain water supply to farmers, ranchers, and small towns downstream.
