Crysis - WARHEAD Chicken Glitch

I have no idea how it happened so I am unsure on how I would recreate it but here is what happened: Fighting a guy on the first mission who was on the other side of a beach. I Looked down the scope and shot a few bullets at him. I then noticed he was not dying and I was pretty sure I was hitting him. I came out of scope and fired a few rounds randomly and to my amazement my gun was shooting chickens! I ran closer to the enemy and discovered his gun was also firing this tasty bird. Naturally shoot
