Game Recap: Penguins vs. Devils () | Crosby and Rust Have Three-Point Nights
Looking to build on the previous game, the Penguins ventured over to New Jersey to take on the Devils. New Jersey struck first, but the Penguins doubled that score, with Jared McCann tallying a power-play goal and Brian Dumoulin earning a friendly deflection from a Devils defender. Jack Hughes scored in the 2nd, but Colton Sceviour responded by batting a puck out of the air on his backhand. Bryan Rust scored on the power play, and Sidney Crosby added a goal from the slot. New Jersey came close to tying the contest with two goals in the second half of the final frame, but Bryan Rust capped things off with an empty-net goal.
