Game Recap: Penguins vs. Sabres () | Jeff Carter’s FOUR-GOAL GAME

The Sabres kicked things off with a goal from Caggiula in the first three minutes of the game… Then, the Jeff Carter show began. Carter scored the next two tallies of the contest. The Sabres evened things up with a goal near the beginning of the 2nd period, but Carter answered right back, completing the hat trick. The Sabres were able to get another one in the middle frame before Dumoulin and McCann added to Pittsburgh’s total… then, guess who? Jeff Carter, once again. This was the first four-goal game of his NHL career. Carter was the first Penguins player with as many in a contest since Jake Guentzel accomplished this feat in Game 6 of the 2018 First Round to come back and eliminate the Flyers. Sidney Crosby deflected a Kris Letang shot a few minutes after Carter’s fourth tally. Skinner scored for the Sabres, but it was Kasperi Kapanen who would net the last goal of the evening. The Penguins have picked up points in 11 of their last 12, and 15 of their last 17 home games since March 6. SUBSCRIBE to b
