Tyrone PA : Going Out In A Blaze Of Glory

Having frittered away 3 hours at Cassandra with only two trains to show for it, for our final act we decided to change locations ahead of the late afternoon traffic surge. Another lull worked to our advantage as we jumped on I-99 and headed for the station area in Tyrone. Along the curve west of the station, a large swath of trees still held on to their fall colors which glowed brightly as the sun sank lower; a fitting finale to both the season and our trip.
