Several cities in Connecticut are being cleaned up after severe storms hit parts of the state.
The storms triggered several severe thunderstorm warnings.
Cities in the Greater Hartford area seem to have the most damage reports. Plymouth city officials said the roads were closed due to downed trees and wires.
Two trees are reported on houses in Walcott. According to police chief Ed Stevens, one is on Hickory Lane and the other is on Averill Avenue.

Fire officials in East Putnam said Walnut Road between Hawkins Road and Pitkin Road was closed due to a tree falling on the wires.
A gale warning was issued in the afternoon as the storms brought thunder, lightning and wind with them. Until 8:00 pm, all eight counties in Connecticut are watching for a severe thunderstorm.
