Grand Minecraft Library - More than just storage for books!

The librarians descended upon the City of Xen and demanded a repository for their knowledge. Thus began the construction of a grand library… Once completed, 56 librarians will be able to call it home. The interior of the library was inspired by the George Peabody Library in Baltimore, and the exterior was loosely based on the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. Some quick stats, more than 4,800 bookshelves; 8,000 glazed terracotta blocks form the floor; 5,700 dark oak stairs, and 5,600 stripped dark oak logs went into the library’s roof construction. Special recognition to TomatoN, whose statue design was used as the base for the Guardians of Knowledge statues on the roof. The entire time-lapse was recorded using the ReplayMod.
