A meditation on Lord Jagannath, an incarnation of Sri Krishna. Every year, devotees of Krishna put their Lordships Sri Jagannath, his sister Subadhra, and his brother Baladev on a set of three giant carts. Forming a parade, they pull the carts. This pulling of the carts is called “Rathayatra.“ It represents the efforts of the devotees to allow love of Sri Jagannath to enter into our hearts.
The devotees see Lord Jagannath as nondifferent from Sri Krishna, even though He may appear differently.
