DYNAmore Exress: Beyond FEA: Arbitary Lagrangean-Eulerian (ALE) Method

Speaker: Maik Schenke (DYNAmore GmbH) The ALE method overcomes the limitations of the classical finite-element analysis (FEA). In particular, it is abler covers a wide range of applications. For instance, it is suitable for the computation of large deformations in solids, e. g. forming simulations, as well as the elaboration of fluid dynamics problems, e. g. fluid flow or shock wave propagation. This webinar will introduce the basic concepts of the ALE method, followed by an overview of the necessery LS-DYNA keywords and, finally, ilustrate common application scenarios.
