10 CATASTROPHIC Flash Floods Caught on Camera [Natural Disasters]

Today, we are going to take a look at 10 catastrophic flash floods that have been caught on camera. #1 - flood occurred in the southern Indian state of Kerala between June and August 2018. It was one of the worst floods in the state’s history and claimed the lives of over 400 people. The floods were triggered by heavy rainfall that lasted for several days, which caused the rivers to overflow and led to landslides in many areas. In fact, Kerala received 42% more rainfall than usual during the southwest monsoon season that year. The floodwaters affected almost all districts in the state and caused widespread destruction of homes, buildings, and infrastructure. The floods also displaced around 1.5 million people and caused damage to crops and livestock. Many people were trapped in their homes, while others were stranded on rooftops, waiting to be rescued.
