This EP is the culmination of work since early 2020. The initial idea was to make “Repatriation’’ go together with “Overtech“ (originally called “Artificial“) as a 2 track release. Meanwhile, this one was used for the special mental health album tribute to Jabaru (), leaving more room for the other two tracks to join in, making this the final concept. “Sokah“ was a purely experimental process. Having found out more about heritage in recent years, he decided to embark on a sonic journey to incorporate rhythms of Socca into the track. It’s a bit more left-field, halfstep but it still sounds amazing. Socca is a form of Dance music from the West Indies, mainly St. Kitts and Nevis, although the genre can be found across the whole of the Caribbean. The original spelling of Socca was Sokah (hence the title), but changed due to a misprint in a newspaper article.
