Txalapartaris

Short subject shoot during a concert performed by La Gialleta at Ponte de Sôr, Portugal. The twin sisters Maika and Sara Gomez are playing Txalaparta - an ancient Basque instrument originally used as a communication device. The Maika and Sara sisters are most known by their own project “Ttukunak“, entirely dedicated to Txalaparta repertoire. La Gialleta is a musical project that integrates Italian, Portuguese and spanish musicians, created specifically for the Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival.
