The second generation of the Mercedes-AMG GT is a vehicle that has been redesigned from the ground up. The AMG sports car architecture with its safe and torsionally rigid composite aluminium body structure allows it to be designed as a 2 2 seater. For a sports car in this class, that means plenty of space and room for luggage. On the one hand, the new AMG GT Coupé thus perfectly meets the requirements of a Grand Turismo. At the same time, it combines high everyday practicality with the sportiest driving characteristics currently available in the Mercedes-AMG portfolio. The market launch will be as the AMG GT 63 4MATIC Coupé (combined fuel consumption (WLTP) 14.1 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions (WLTP) 319 g/km). The 430 kW (585 hp) AMG V8 biturbo engine is combined with the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system for the first time in a two-door AMG GT. High-tech components such as the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with semi-active roll stabilisation, active rear-axle steering and active aerodynamics underline the flagship position in the performance and sports car brand’s portfolio.
