The first ECM leader date for Shai Maestro (following his label debut with Theo Bleckmann on Ele-gy) features the gifted pianist fronting his superlative trio with fellow Israeli Ofri Nehemya on drums and Peruvian bassist Jorge Roeder, and also playing alone.
