Stretching from the Nullarbor Plain and running for 5,500 kilometres, Australia’s dog fence is the longest barrier ever built. It’s there to keep dingoes out of the pastoral zones in the south-eastern part of the continent. The fence runs through some of the most arid and inhospitable parts of the outback, but the past few wet years have brought extra challenges to the men responsible for its upkeep. Tim Lee journeyed to far western Queensland to meet two of those men.
