Geforce 3080 VS 8K Gaming

A battle for the ages: can a $699 GPU in 2020 handle modern games at 8K? General rule of thumb: Games 5 years ago, yes. Games 3 years ago, maybe at significantly reduced settings. Modern titles: ...go 4K instead. Tested on a Ryzen 3700X, 32 GB RAM @ 3200 Mhz, and, of course, a Geforce 3080 10 GB FE. I deliberately tried games that are considered demanding / are / were benchmarked titles.
