Isadora ~ Paul Mauriat (HQ Audio)

Cherry blossoms dancing to the tune of “Isadora“.... Isadora Duncan lived a short but vibrant and artistic life, resembling cherry blossoms. The dance music for the 1968 biographical film “Isadora“ was composed by French composer/conductor Maurice Jarre (1924 -- 2009) (whose award-winning film scores include “Dr. Zhivago“, “Lawrence of Arabia“ and “A Passage to India“). This instrumental version of “Isadora“ was arranged by the talented French orchestra leader Paul Mauriat (1925 -- 2006). The film “Isadora“ tells the life story of American dancer Isadora Duncan (1877 -- 1927), who was known for her invention of a free form of dancing based on Greek classicism, unrestricted by the conventional code of ballet dancing.
