broad edge dip pen ’quill’ nib made from aluminium tin of sardine can and lid. took about 40 minutes to make. mind the sharp edges when cutting tin. these work great and i never use my speedball set, i use these instead. they need sharpening (takes 10 seconds) every couple of hours of writing - just reshape on 240grit sandpaper. they don’t rust, so they can sit in washwater all day! these same nibs can also be folded into a old pen body. the ’quill’ is just for fun, as it isn’t really as comfortable to
