Katerina Petrova | Can the lonely take the place of you?

720p So, as some of you know my inspiration is slowly starting to come back (thanks to the vampire diaries) and then my last video got ’’video of the week’’ on this amazing Nina Dobrev fansite, who started to host a contest for the characters Elena or Katherine in season 2. I thought I would give it a shot, and to my surprise my inspiration worked with me. Why did I choose Katherine? Most fanvideo’s about this character are about how much of a bad-ass female she is. I do agree on this, but in my eyes her character is really tragic, and they really showed this in S2. Katerina, when she was human believed in love.. because without it why would we want to live? Katherine, the vampire, has lived so long putting herself above others, above love that the meaning of love is completely gone. I do honestly think she loves or loved at least one of the Salvatore brothers, or even Elijah, but because she always puts herself above love, this love is never returned,
