Yesterday, The Beatles

This week I recorded Yesterday by The Beatles for my Granma‘s Birthday! Another one in the ‘series‘ of pop arrangements for family birthdays :) Just before this recording Daniel Zucali brought to me my new crossover guitar! She has a spruce top with plum tree wood on the back and sides, along with a cutaway, and an AER Ak15 microphone/pickup system. The guitar has traditional bracing which is the best option for an instrument that is to be amplified because otherwise the resonances would be too overwhelming. Zucali really does a great job at maintaining the sound, feel, and character of a classical guitar, whilst also having the ability for it to be amplified. I look forward to performing with this instrument on my Germany tour soon alongside some fantastic jazz guitarists! I really love playing this guitar and I hope you enjoy the sound!
