Played on a Danelectro 59X12 I just picked up, which I honestly thinks sounds on par with a Rickenbacker as far as “jangle“ is concerned. I thought Ringo would do a more upbeat drum pattern with some cool fills, and John and Paul would have done closer harmonies (Peter and Gordon style?). Here’s what I came up with.
