JUST IN: (Russian) Putin gives speech at Victory Day Parade in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a speech at the Victory Day Parade in Moscow. Putin criticized NATO and the West for brooding other plans while Russia wanted open and frank dialogue as late as last December. He also slammed NATO for taking punitive military action against Russia’s historic lands, ’including Crimea’, supporting international terrorism that targets Russia and pushing security threats right up to Russia’s borders, which was ’absolutely unacceptable’. He also said that the US has been emphasizing its exceptionalism since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and forcing its allies into vassal states that basically follow the US in whatever it does. Putin pointed out that Russia is a different country and that the millennium of western values has completely collapsed. Furthermore, Putin stressed that the ’horror of a global war’ must be averted at all costs. Editor: Wang Zhong __________________ Powered by Shanghai Media Gr
