Morrowind is a land full of adventure, but sometimes you just need a bit of downtime, and what better way is there to relax than to sit back, cast out a line, and do a bit of fishing in-between all those crazy adventures? That’s where today’s Mod of the Day comes in, for today we’re showcasing Ultimate Fishing by Merlord - Greatness7 - Melchior Dahrk, a fully functional, fully animated, and fully fun new fishing mini-game for Morrowind! Simply take a fishing pole, attach some bait, cast out a line over any body of water you like, and just wait for a fish to nibble. Once you’ve got something hooked, you can reel it in, involving a battle of wills as the fish tries to escape. With some 25 different types of fish, some unique to different regions or times of day, not to mention five legendary fish that you can try to catch, there is a simply massive amount of fishing content for you to find, and this is, without question, one of the most polished new gameplay mechanics added to Morrowind. Merlord has done it again, and if you’re at all a fan of fishing or fishing mini-games, you absolutely need to check out and play this mod, it is well worth every ounce of praise!
