Alien Odyssey (pc dos)

Intro gameplay. I got stuck at about halfway in the game at second rail shooter level. Couldn’t figure out how to avoid damage caused by unavoidable collisions. Didn’t find a way to control the ship (spinning in default patterns) and shield doesn’t absorb damage from collisions. There has to be a way to complete it though, but I was getting a bit bored at this point anyways. Few death scenes included at the end of the video. I resized this to 1600p instead of 800p by mistake, but that shouldn’t make a huge difference on how the video looks in YT. In my opinion not very good one, but worth a look if you’re interested about lesser known dos games. I figured out some stuff not explained in walkthrough, for example some doors can only be opened by shooting at a precise point somewhere near the door. This game is similar to Cyberia in that it also has rail shooter and “adventure“ sub-games. Publisher: Philips Interactive Media, Inc. (1995) Developer: Argonaut Software Ltd.
