🔘 Evil-Forerunners “Never Mind“ were formed around circa ’81/’82 by Kim “Wah Xmas“ Jul, Per ’Pearl Angel’ Hansen, Peter ’Hurricane’ Larsen, Finn Lindblad and Tommy Strauss. Having been said to have played a primitive rock/metal style of music without much success, soon drummer Finn Lindblad left to follow a non-musical tradesmen job opportunity and second guitarist/bass player Tommy Strauss was fired because of instability reasons. The remaining three-piece progress into heavier territory adding new stickman Freddie “Wolf“ Petersen, according to Xmas as being inspired to write heavier material with Wolf’s added double bass drum talents and so Evil is born. In the first half of the 80’s, before the Thrash Metal invasion (started in 1986 by METALLICA’s “Master of Puppets“), many Metal scenes arose in Europe as a consequence of the earthquake called the NWOBHM.
