“Junk“ and “Singalong Junk“ were released on Paul McCartney’s debut solo album, titled simply McCartney, in the spring of 1970. The album featured a very loose, laid-back recording style of the nature that was always intended for The Beatles’s Let It Be album. The record is entirely plays all instruments and the only other person featured in any way was his wife Linda, who sang back up vocals.
