The first week of 2023 has been quite the chaotic one in the Rocket League community. From bots infiltrating the ranked system, to content creators being accused of viewbotting, to a huge portion of the bubble scene being permanently banned, there’s no shortage of stuff to talk about right now. A decent portion of the semi-pro Rocket League scene in NA was just permanently banned for having something called a tradelocked alpha boost on their accounts. I explain what that means and why it’s bannable and discuss the future of the these players’ careers.
