To be honest, I’d recommend working with an elevation and progress by lowering it until getting to the ground (post coming on this). However if you don’t have an elevation at your disposal and Knee Push Ups are the regression you choose to practice, doing them right is key. When performing a regular push up, some core and glute tension must be kept, aiding to counterbalance the anterior pelvic tilt (arched back) which naturally happens since our body is just finding the “easier” way to complete the task.
