Crater Lake 2 - Stabilized Sky Timelapse - Visualization of Earth’s Rotation - 4K

Another stabilized sky timelapse featuring the Milky Way over Crater Lake. The purpose of these videos is to help us visualize the Earth’s rotation. It’s something we know is happening, but is not something we directly perceive. Footage captured at Crater Lake National Park on July 21, 2020. That night, the clouds rolled in a bit, and I had feared that they might ruin my footage. To my relief, not only did they not ruin the timelapse, but they actually enhanced the scene, and made it more dramatic. I’m really happy with how this sequence turned out.
