Mithun Chakraborty was flooded with small film offers after the success of ‘Surakshaa’ & ‘Taraana’. He soon came to be known as ‘The Poor Man’s Amitabh’. His style was unique, fresh & different and the audience simply loved him. In fact, Mithun actually competed with himself and had no rivals. Mithun’s big ticket moment came when filmmaker B. Subhash offered him ‘Disco Dancer’.
