Giovanni does many charity events and this solo piano concert was performed in Mission Viejo, California for a private audience in February, 2013 Sorry for the low audio quality. Permission and thanks to the City of Mission Viejo, California Giovanni Bio: Giovanni Marradi, born of Italian heritage, is a composer, pianist, arranger, conductor, recording artist, inventor and cartoonist. Giovanni began playing piano at age five. He is the son of famed composer and trumpeter, Alfredo Marradi, and the great great grandson of famous Italian poet “Giovanni Marradi”. Before moving to the U.S. in 1977, Giovanni played in some of the most prestigious resorts throughout Europe and the Middle East. While performing on stage at the exclusive “Palace Court” at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Giovanni made many friends in the motion picture and music industry, including one particular entertainer who took notice of this young talent and a long-lasting friendship developed. That entertainer was Frank Sinatra. Giovanni and Frank became close friends and Mr. Sinatra mentored Giovanni throughout the years, until his passing. Today Giovanni is working on his next project in China after a successful tour in 2020, and a new tour will commence in 2024 with dates to be determined. Here are some of Giovanni’s accomplishments: Giovanni is one of the most successful expressionist pianists of the 21st Century, selling over 20 million CDs worldwide. With a career spanning over forty years, Giovanni has recorded 190 CDs, and has written over 700 original songs and composed music for film and television. Giovanni produced and directed his Emmy award winning 28 episode television series “Giovanni’s World of Music“ which aired on NBC affiliates and PBS stations nationwide and was distributed by Warner Brothers Television. Giovanni invented and developed the patented “GINI MUSIC METHOD™” which simplifies the rigorous traditional piano music teaching method and simplifies it for beginners. It will be launched in the near future. Giovanni has sold more CD’s on the Home Shopping Network and QVC TV channels than any other recording artist, once selling 120,000 CDs in one 12 minute segment. Giovanni received a Telly Award in New York Giovanni’s album “Because I Love You” won the 2010 Best New Age album of the year in Spain. Giovanni’s album “The Romantic Piano of Giovanni” won the 2019 Best album of the year in Asia. Giovanni has scored the music for several movies and national TV commercials including the award winning Bruce Willis “Seagrams” commercial and the HBO movie “Two Soldiers Down“.
