Dushanbe City Tour

Join me as we explore Dushanbe together. On this fully guided walking tour we start with Tajik street food, walk the infamous Rudaki avenue, see the Tajik Opera-Ballet, and pass by many government monuments including the tallest flag pole in the world. We cannot forget Tajikistan’s Soviet history with soviet mosaics, buildings, and a cool Soviet tourist shop selling old ornaments. I will show you how to use shared taxis and the bus, including the vocabulary needed in Tajik. A glimpse at the zoo and Kokhi Nawruz show a spark disparity between the old and new, letting us appreciate both the past and future.
