Kharkiv (Ukrainian saying) / Kharkov (Russian saying) and its people hadn’t had the easiest time the last few decades. In 1941 the city was attacked by the Germans and successfully occupied till 1943. And as you surely now, recently Kharkiv has been under attack because of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. Thats why I made this video to show you what the occupation of 1941 looked like and to help you remember that history might be repeating itself.
