Sill Logs for the new LOG CABIN | The MOUNTAINS are Calling!

After spending three weeks on the road exploring Canada, I return to the off grid wilderness homestead eager to make progress on my new log home. I cut a 24 foot eastern larch log in half to make two sill logs, which I lifted into place with cables (next video). In the second half of the video, I show highlights of our trip, including amazing encounters with grizzly and black bears, elk bulls fighting, deer, bighorn sheep and more.
