Alexandre Tharaud – Royer: “L’Aimable“ (Premier livre de pièces de clavecin)

Versailles by Alexandre Tharaud explores the music of the time of Versailles, through French composers Lully, Rameau, Charpentier, Couperin, and more. Discover here: Each of the composers whose works comprise this album were associated with the French court in the 17th and 18th centuries, active during the reigns of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI. A number of the pieces have not, to the best of Tharaud’s knowledge, previously been recorded on the modern piano. The album also features collaborations with soprano Sabine Devieilhe and pianist Justin Taylor. __________ Warner Classics ► Website: Subscribe to our: ► YT- Channel: ► Newsletter Follow us on: ► Facebook: ► Instagram: ► Twitter:
