Michels dedicates the song to Rio Reiser one day after the 14th anniversary of Rio Reiser’s passing with a quotation of Reiser, “The wrong musical note can sometimes be the right musical note“. “Bald zuhause“ was written by Michels (music) & Rio Reiser (lyrics, ex-Ton Steine Scherben) and appeared on the 2008 Michels album “Zuhause“. It was also included in the 2003 Rio Reiser Tribute “Familienalbum“. “Bald zuhause“ is the German version of “Lonely places“ by Percewood’s Onagram (music & lyrics by Michels). “Lonely places“ was a song off the Percewood’s Onagram album Ameurope“ 1974.
