Alec R. Costandinos Vol. 7: And The Music Played (1978)

Following the success of Love And Kisses’s How Much, How Much I Love You and Thank God It’s Friday, the next Costandinos project was to have been a full disco medley album of titles Costandinos had previously composed and recorded with Greek superstar Demis Roussos (including the European top-hit Forever And Ever). In the end only a single, Demiscollection, was released on CBS Records under the pseudonym Mike Henson, but met only with little success. I have paired these recordings with some recordings Costandinos did under another pseudonym Damiano, released as a single in Italian, Se un amore non c’è più, b/w an Italian version of his Love & Kisses track You’re The Most Precious Thing In My Life. Furthermore Costandinos contributed some recordings to France-based Malaysian-singer Dato Shake’s debut LP, recorded throughout 1976 and 1977 which I have assembled for Side 2 of this imaginary album.
