Beckie Bell: In Need Of ... [Full Album + Odds & Ends] (1980)

Beckie Bell (Rebecca Bell, born in New York, April 20) is an American singer who came to France in the 70s where she was discovered by producer Pierre Jaubert and signed to the Trëma label in 1979. The resulting album In Need Of ... was released early 1980 and sank like a stone at the time. In the meantime she had become a much sought-after backing vocalist and would go on to back the likes of Duran Duran, Johnny Hallyday, Patrick Bruel, Elton John, Angelique Kidjo, Céline Dion. She was also one of the backing singers on Mylène Farmer’s enormeous hit single Desenchantée in 1991. Beckie
