SEGA Mega Drive Calls a Nokia N-Gage - World First? - Fun With Mega Drive Modem

Messing around with the Mega Drive Modem that was released by SEGA way back in 1990. I thought it might be fun to see if my Mega Drive could phone my Nokia N-Gage. Unlike 3rd party devices such as the X-Band and Sega Channel (both of which plugged into the cartridge slot), the Mega Drive Modem was an official 1st party peripheral from Sega that plugged into the rear serial port. It allowed for online multiplayer, online banking and the downloading of small games. All this back in the early 90’s!
