Locals and tourists have desperately tried to save hundreds of dolphins washed up on a beach in the Cape Verde islands. Scientists don’t know why around 200 melon-headed dolphins beached themselves on Boa Vista island. Despite the frantic efforts of rescuers, 136 dolphins died and had to be buried by bulldozers.
