“Shin Ace wo Nerae!“ Music Collection (1978)

Song collection from the 1978 anime “Shin Ace wo Nerae!“ (新・エースをねらえ！), a classic series directed by Osamu Dezaki, very underrated outside of Japan. The first season aired in 1973 and was later remade in 1978 as well as having a theatrical movie release in 1979. This original issue record contains music from the latter two releases. Two more seasons were produced as OVAs in 1988 and 1989. I highly recommend giving this anime a try, as it was highly influential on the sports and shoujo genres, being an early example of both.
