US media expect Tucker Carlson to ’softball’ Vladimir Putin interview: Megyn Kelly

Sky News contributor Megyn Kelly says United States media are ‘sceptical’ of Tucker Carlson’s scheduled interview with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin as the former Fox News host is expected to present with “softball” questions. “Part of the reason they are sceptical of Tucker is he has not been hard on Russia in his coverage of this conflict,” she told Sky News Australia host Paul Murray. “He has been, if anything, defensive of them and so I think people are expecting him to do a very flattering, softball interview that will further the narrative that people feel they have heard from Tucker. “So, they are anticipating hating it … that may be a problem with the interview, it may not. “Crazy thought, let’s wait to see how he does.”
