Cossack Sword- Destroyed (Systema)

Test of shashka (Cossack sabre) to destruction. Many modern shashkas are made from the steel alloy that is used for car springs. Is this superior to, say, Damascus steel or Japanese steel? I don’t know, I haven’t seen the tests of the other blades. But here’s a test of a Russian sword, where the blade gets put through pretty nasty challenges: single reed, 20 reeds, thick saplings, hardened steel...
