There are calls for safer crossings on Canada’s highways following the deadly crash in Carberry, Man., that lead to the deaths of at least 15 people, mostly seniors.
Eric Sorensen reports a lack of traffic lights and order at intersections may not be unusual in the country.
And as Manitoba is reeling from the crash along the Trans-Canada highway between a transport truck and a passenger bus, which left 15 people dead and injured 10 others, Mike Drolet looks at what’s known about the collision so far, and why residents believe the intersection where the crash happened is dangerous.
