Mahishasura Mardini Stotram | Bhakti Yoga Mantras

The Mahishasura Mardini Stotram is a prayer offered to Durga Devi, a form of the Divine Mother, for the slaying of the demon Mahishasura. During Navaratri specifically, we sing this praise to glorify the Divine Mother and remember that Her grace can destroy the ego (represented by Mahishasura) preventing us from reaching the Divine.
